portland has lots of talent (oden, roy, aldridge, webster); they might not make it to the playoffs this season because oden is out, but give it a few years they'll be good with oden in the middle and roy out on the perimeter

with that said, you can still make small trades to fill areas of needs, but you gotta keep oden and roy cuz' they are the cornerstone of the blazers team

didn't say it has to be a realistic trade.
i dont think portland has to make any trades really. all the pieces are in place. the only thing i that these pieces are all young and need experience. aldridge will be great, he showed great #s near the end of last year and with oden out, he should get a ton more playing time. travis outlaw is still really young and has a bunch of talent and potential, sometimes he can put up 20+ ppg but he has to play consistently. jack is a nice young PG, he might not be great but he is still pretty decent. and we all know brandon roy will be an allstar in the future, just hope his heel doesnt act up too much during the season. maybe the oden injury will actually help if portland lands a high pick again. if the blazers can get OJ Mayo, Michael Beasley, or Derrick Rose, they will be really good in the future. once oden gets some experience next year, the blazers will be back on the map in say 3 years. i know you what results now, but you must be patient.

I think that something like this trade would be perfect for the youngsters. Cassel is someone that they could realistically aquire and bring that veteran savy to a team that needs leadership. This leaves you with a starting line up of:

Sam Cassell, Brandon Roy, Martell Webster, LaMarcus Aldridge, and Joel Pryzbilla (or Oden when healthy)

Plus Miles, Jack, Blake, and Rodriguez off the bench.

The distributor is what they need to help the young scorers.

This deal is almost done ... the Celtics are just trying to get KG to sign an extention to keep him in Boston for a longer period of time. In return Minnesota will be getting Al Jefferson, Sebastian Telfair, Theo Ratliff, and maybe even Gerald Green or a future draft pick.

When looking at these huge fanatic deals I base my decision on analyzing what each team gets and who it hasta give and if someone gets screwed in the deal. What the hell are the Hornets getting in this trade? They lose out big time. Why would they trade David West? Tim Thomas can't hold a candle to him. Lamar Odom is ok, but Peja fits their system and has done well. Stephon would be a cancer to Chris Paul. You must be a Knicks fan and dreaming buddy. Sorry to be harsh, but at least make the deal look decent.

This trade is absolutely ridiculous in that it would involving 10 players getting traded for 1, but I think you did it simply to measure the wealth of Shaq so I'm not going to eat your lunch like some people here would. The Spurs do NOT need another person taking shots. They could use someone like a young Ben Wallace who doesn't need or want many chances to score. Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili can take care of the offense, and Duncan and Bowen will handle the defense. Report It


first off, why would you trade away guys who were instrumental in getting you a championship, even if they are only reserves?

second. the spurs don't need to trade. finley, barry, bowen (did i just hear a collective sigh of relief?), and horry (waddah? there's that sound again) are all retiring after this season. they will be in the hunt for good free agents next summer.

third. with ian mahinmi and tiago splitter together with elson/oberto not to mention duncan, they're stacked at the 4 and 5 spots. what the spurs will be needing is a 2 guard and a long small forward.

Kind of a Wierd trade...I like Novak he can shoot the ball well when given the chance. I would rather have McInnis than Steve Novak, much more of an upside. Novak is a soft player that will just stand around the the three point line and chuck up tray balls.

I think it's a good overall trade. Caron butler has been playing great lately and so has josh smith. The hawks get turiaff and arenas. The wizards did okay. They would get joe johnson, who has his explosive nights.

Are you kidding!? Two really solid big men for four scrubs!? Chandler is a beast on the boards and in the paint for blocked shots, and West is a up-and-coming young scoring PF. Wright is gonna be a solid bench player, Doleac and Walker are done and are just taking up cap room, and Haslem is the only worth anything and all he can do is rebound. It would be a heck of a trade for the Heat.

That trade will greatly benefit the Cavs but not the Nets. Seeing Lebron play with one of the best pointguards the NBA has ever seen will really be exciting. But the same could not be said about the Nets. Hughes, Carter and Jefferson practically play the same position. So that trade won't work fairly.

Don't think it would happen, the only team in which this trade kind of make sense is with the heat, which looses Shaq and a PG, for another PG and a big guy.

The Knicks have too many G already, and they are not only getting 2 for 1, but they are both starting PG material. And Shaq is clearly on the decline.

And the Nets won't trade Kidd unless they can get a somewhat good PG in return (if they have gotten J-Will instead of Malik it would have made more sense).
This is a horrendous trade, especially for the Nets. Lee and Rose can't even compare to J Kidd. If this goes through, there is no one that can take over as PG until Williams comes back. You defnitely have to be a Knicks fan.

Yes, we know it's over as far as the KG sweepstakes, but what the hell, this is just for fun. Although Danny Ainge would be tarred and feathered, I would do this deal in a second if I were Boston. Getting 3 of the most athletic and versatile players in the league from Phoenix would set up Boston for the next decade. Phoenix, on the other hand, wouldn't have a chance of going deep in the playoffs after giving up all of their depth and quickness. I think that Paul Gasol needs a new address, but not to LA. How many shots would he get playing next to you-know-who? Why is everybody trying to trade Lamar Odom? He is one of the most unselfish big men in the entire league, and a perfect sidekick for Kobe Bryant. What the Lakers need most is a tough, in-your-face inside player not afraid to mix it up. This is a good trade. Personally if I was New Jersey, I'd accept the trade. I hate Troy Hudson because he gets paid so much and for what? NOTHING. Hudson has proved that he doesn't deserve that money and he's demanding a trade but won't accept a buy-out of his contract. He's pathetic. But by New Jersey acquiring Davis, they'd be running the fast break better and their offense will be more up-tempo than it already is. Davis can run the cut and compliments Kidd/Carter more than Jefferson. Good trade.

I don't think this trade would accomplish much. RJ is a better fit for the Nets IMO. Ricky Davis can play small forward, but his game is better suited as a shooting guard. Vince just resigned so Ricky would be playing second fiddle at that position and Marcus Williams is JKidd's backup at point so I think this trade would effectively give the Nets 2nd and 3rd team players instead of having a solid starter.
There's no way NJ trades out the better player, to receive a downgrade in the wing and a 3rd string PG. There's no way NJ trades RJ if its not for a proven big...
The Nets felt like they took a great risk by picking a troubled guy in Sean Williams so Ricky Davis isn't helping them much. RJ is the key if the Nets want a valuable big man(i.e. Jermaine O'Neal) so they won't trade for 2 guys smaller than him. Hudson's career is pretty much over and if the Nets took him then they would just buy him out like the Blazers did with Steve Francis. Maybe something like RJ, Sean Williams, Marcus Williams for KG with another team involved would be better, especially since KG gets sent to the Eastern Conference.
I don't know. I mean Richard Jefferson is an All-Star caliber G/F. Whereas, Troy Hudson and Ricky Davis have as many All-Star appearences as me....only as a spectator. KG would have a decent supporting teammate since Sam Cassell and Latrell Spreewell. But the Nets would be killing their playoff chances with Davis. Davis plays when he wants to. And if you want to win an NBA title, you don't need a player like that on your team. Hudson is a decent player coming off the bench, but the Nets have decent guards off the bench now....rethink that trade a little.

It depends where you live and what store you are trading them in. You probably will get a fair bit for them but don't expect too much. You probably won't get much for the Wii game, but the 360 games may give you the best price.

I'm guessing a total of around $200, but I'm not making any promises and if they are in really bad condition they won't accept them at all. It's always worth a try.
